Why Belly Dance? Belly dance is fantastic for your flexibility, balance, grace and strength, and is a fun way get your body moving. You will be amazed at what your body can do! Belly dance promotes a sense of serenity, self-confidence, balance, harmony and well-being and it is great for your core.
Who Can Belly Dance? You can! You don't need dance experience; every woman any age, shape, size or fitness level can belly dance, and we accommodate individuals with a wide range of disabilities.
What to Wear: your spirit of adventure and comfy clothes like sweats & a t-shirt. Most dancers are barefoot, but wear socks if you prefer. Bring water to stay hydrated.

About your Teacher: Val has been belly dancing for since 1995 & leads the Eve Tribal Belly Dance Company. She specializes in double scimitars and grooves on the exotic zen of balancing 20 lbs. of cold steel scimitars in a smoking, full on shimmy! She has danced on a glacier in Iceland, in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, and on the prow of a garbage scow in Poland, and is excited about sharing her joy and passion for belly dance!

We offer corporate and group Self Defense and Personal Safety Programs on site or at our location.
Our program is designed for the novice who is interested in learning some self defense and personal safety but not interested in signing up at a martial arts school. Our staff is highly skilled and has taught many program for groups such as banks, ambulance drivers and EMT's, realtors, schools and many more. Tai Chi is practiced as a graceful form of exercise.Tai Chi is ancient Chinese tradition that involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.
Low impact movements puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it safe for all ages and fitness levels. Tai Chi's low impact exercise, may be especially suitable if you're an older adult who otherwise may not exercise or if you are out of shape and just getting started.
